Amy Kleinhans-Curd officially agreed to become patron of the Sunshine Association during 2009. This was a great honour and privilege for the Association, and has undoubtedly brought tremendous benefit to the organisation and its stakeholders.

Amy's passion for quality education and sincere interest in Early Childhood Development is evident in her acknowledgement of & credit to practitioners and their implementation of Sunshine Association's structured Early Intervention Day Care Programme.

Amy's kind warm and loving personality has been an inspiration to many. Her interaction with children has always been filled with spontaneity and has certainly brought a smile to many children's faces. Amy has also shown a very special ability to motivate and inspire women through sharing her rich life experiences and has in this way contributed to staff wellness & motivation.

Amy has a very special ability to match her relations and networks appropriately to the needs of the Association. She has particularly been a source of strength to our Marketing and Fundraising programmes and has played in integral role in creating a positive image of the Sunshine Association. Her humbleness and respect for others creates a comfortable environment for all our stakeholders.

Sunshine Association is very fortunate to have a person of her stature and persona linked to our unique holistic approach to children with disabilities and their families.
